Welcome to ShardHop. ShardHop is a directory and community for private and community-run game servers: a vote-driven toplist plus a discussion forum. By creating an account, listing a server, voting, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ShardHop.

1. What ShardHop is — and isn't

ShardHop lists servers and hosts a community. We do not operate, host, endorse, or vouch for the servers that appear here. Each listing links to a server operator's own official site; your dealings with any server are between you and that operator.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Keep your login details secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You must meet the minimum age required by law in your location to hold an account.

3. Listing a server

• Listings are free. You may only list a server you operate or are authorised to represent.
• You are responsible for everything in your listing, and you confirm you have the right to use any name, text, or image you upload.
• Listings link only to your own official site. You may not use ShardHop to distribute anything covered in Section 5.

4. Voting and rankings

• The ranked list reflects player votes only. Paid placement is clearly labelled, sits apart, and never influences a rank.
• Vote manipulation — bots, proxies, incentivised or automated voting — is prohibited. We may void votes, and we enforce a published penalty ladder up to permanent delisting.
• Owners can see their own vote log, including why a vote did or did not count.

5. Content that is never allowed

• No game clients, launchers, or executables.
• No leaked, cracked, or paid source dumps, and no cracked frameworks.
• No commercial game assets, sprites, or model rips.
• Nothing unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that violates a third party's rights.

6. Intellectual property and takedowns

Game names may be used descriptively. Do not use anyone's logo, wordmark, or artwork as your branding. If you believe content here infringes your rights, contact us at [your takedown contact email] with details; we respond to valid requests and keep records.

7. Disclaimers

ShardHop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Listings and reviews are user-submitted; we do not guarantee their accuracy, and a high ranking is not an endorsement. You use listed servers at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShardHop and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or of any server you find here.

9. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, suspend listings, or close accounts that break these Terms or the published ranking and content policies.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there.
